Soy una artista visual interdisciplinaria e investigadora chilena con una práctica en escritura y traducción. Mi investigación actual está enfocada en sistemas de creencias, feminismos y la estandarización hegemónica del conocimiento en los territorios colonizados. A través de mi práctica busco aprehender y cuestionar verdades físicas, culturales y espirituales. Mi trabajo está compuesto por obras de carácter procesual que utilizan el lenguaje, tiempo y objetos encontrados como materia prima.

Soy licenciada en Arte y estudié un certificado en estética del arte latinoamericano en la Universidad Católica de Chile. Luego, cursé un Magister en Artes Visuales con enfoque interdisciplinario en la Universidad de Pensilvania, EEUU y un Magister avanzado en investigación artística en el contexto sociopolítico en Sint Lucas, Amberes, Bélgica. Mi trabajo ha sido expuesto internacionalmente en espacios como Fjord Gallery, Filadelfia y The Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries, Nueva York (EE.UU.); MUCHA, Mendoza (AR); FRANZ JOSEP KAI 3, Viena (AT); Goethe Institute, Salvador (BR); Galería Gabriela Mistral en Santiago (CL) y RAAT en Amberes (BE) entre otros.

Adicionalmente, he trabajado en colaboración con curadores, artistas y colectivos, desarrollando exposiciones y proyectos curatoriales independientes.

I am a Chilean interdisciplinary visual artist and researcher, with a practice in writing and translating. My present artistic research is focused on systems of beliefs, feminism and the hegemonic standardization of knowledge in colonized territories. Through my practice I seek to apprehend and question physical, cultural, and spiritual truths. My work is composed process-based pieces that use language, time, and found objects as raw material.

I earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a Certificate in Latin-American Art Aesthetics (PUC, Chile). Later on, I studied a Master in Fine Arts with an interdisciplinary focus (UPENN, USA) and an Advanced Master in Artistic Research in a Socio-Political Context (Sint Lucas Antwerp, Belgium). My work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Fjord Gallery, Philadelphia and The Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries, New York (USA); MUCHA, Mendoza (AR); FRANZ JOSEP KAI 3, Vienna (AT); Goethe Institute, Salvador (BR); Galería Gabriela Mistral in Santiago (CL) and RAAT, Antwerp (BE) among others.

Additionally, I have worked collaboratively with curators, artists and collectives developing exhibitions and independent curatorial projects.
